The theorycrafting scene in Last Epoch never stops evolving, but every once in a while, a build appears that feels completely illegal. This latest Sorcerer setup pushes the game to its limits with an absurd combination of Frost Claw, Ignite scaling, infinite Meteors, and feedback-loop mechanics that can literally melt both bosses and PCs at the same time. And yes, it looks just as ridiculous as it sounds.
The Core Idea Behind the Build
At its heart, the build is an Ignite-based Frost Claw Sorcerer that abuses Meteor-trigger interactions to generate an endless barrage of hits. Instead of relying on massive direct damage, the build stacks thousands upon thousands of tiny Ignite applications that eventually combine into one overwhelming burst.
The key interaction begins with Frost Claw being triggered through Meteor using the now-famous infinite Meteor loop technology. Every Meteor cast creates a storm of Frost Claw projectiles, and every projectile can apply Ignite. Individually, these Ignites are weak. But when you’re applying them tens of thousands of times in rapid succession, the numbers spiral completely out of control.
The setup also borrows mechanics from previous Black Hole Ignite builds, particularly the “Ignite pop” interaction from Enchant Weapon. Once enough stacks are applied, the build detonates them all simultaneously, instantly deleting Uber bosses.
